First time doing mending using a speed weave. I'm practicing on old and worn out dish towels. I made some mistakes, but the process is fun!!

@Ppppawa I have just been thinking recently of trying this out! Do you have any tips for someone getting started?
@marissaccc After doing some mistakes, I learned that:
1. Test your fabric for fraying/tearing around the hole you want to mend. Make the patch as big as needed to ensure you stitch in good and strong fabric.
2. Use a tailor pencil, to draw lines where you'll be stitching (if clean edges are a concern).
3. Use a long and blunt needle.
4. After each pass, push the yarn down using the side of the needle to tighten the weave.
5. Have fun and be whimzy!!! Mending is great 🤍
