And also... they now support sending data via audio! Still experimental, but it seems to work well enough. You can program a pattern in a web browser, and when it looks good enough in the simulator you can send the pattern (which is actually a special binary executable) directly to the earring via sound. The program will then be picked up by the earring through the microphone, stored in flash memory, and be run directly on the chip itself.

Stitch by stitch and piece by piece, with silk, with cotton, with linen, and with gold, I found myself retelling the ancient stories discovered in the archaeology as well as the stories of the archaeologists themselves..

Late August in eastern Iceland, and the sky doesn't get darker than astronomical twilight all night. The sun does set, but it doesn't dip far below the horizon.
It's 21:40 in Djúpivogur, and there's been a pretty sunset. Even now, the embers remain glowing.
Above pyramidal Búlandstindur mountain, the sun is casting its last colour onto the clouds around a long shadow of the mountain peak.
