Okay I am gonna send a question to fedi: Is there any good service for task management? Open-source (ideally free software) that one can self-host?
I need:
* A way to create tasks and put tags/categories on them
* Calendar management
* Web/Desktop based but the it is a must that I can self-host it.

In addition to platforms like Mastodon & PeerTube, we are exploring whether we can also use an #OpenSource platform for newsletters.
We are looking for something privacy-friendly, self-hostable and sustainable over the long term. Right now, Keila and Listmonk are on our list.
Have you used (either of) them or other alternatives? We'd love to hear about your experience: what worked well, what didn't and which one you'd recommend? Thanks!

It is incredibly important that libraries not lose the trust they have earned as a place that is safe from this, where the history we preserve stays history and not hallucination.
Ik wil u de #mosterdnademaaltijd wel vast opdienen maar je zou ook kunnen overwegen om gekende leugenaars gewoon geen podium meer te geven. My timeline (which contains a lot of project leaders/sysadmins from big projects) is filling with posts about a new, ongoing wave of what most likely are scrapers collecting training data for „AI“ companies. They seem to be using botnets (or what some call „residential IP proxies“ to make it sound a bit more legitimate) with millions of IP addresses, making it really hard to defend against. Some have decided to take their sites down until this is over. This is now the world we live in :(

Here’s a thought on the current heatwave that is absolutely destroying humankind across Europe atm: maybe we should push for a regulation to allow people — ALL people — to stop working in temperatures above 30C.
