Highly recommend everyone watches The Future with Hannah Fry. Particularly Series 1 episode 5: Inclusion. Some fantastic tech, along with clever but simple architectural design to increase #accessibility.

Kind of bummed that this petition against a monstrous AI data center has not yet broken 6,000 signatures.

To follow up on the situation where non consensual NHS AI got my medical notes wrong: it is possible to have AI removed from your NHS note taking that's on by default. You have to request it in writing from your GP. I have now managed after a request in Feb, and have it confirmed in writing. Recommend you do to!!!

My most recent run in with the NHS was just over 6 years ago. I woke up one morning (mid first lock down) and my right arm was incredibly painful.

I got a referral from my local GP - "go straight to A&E"

My elbow had got infected and my arm was basically rotting off in real-time.

An imperial shitload of antibiotics fixed that.

Zero cost to me.

Fell asleep last night before I could plug in the phone. After several months avoiding an AI OS update its battery died. Fearing the worst I turned it on at 6% knowing it needed a higher charge to update.
Success! It only came up with a popup dialogue box. 2 options: Later, and the update. Pressed back and the popup cleared. I live to die another day.
The contract on this phone is up in November. I'm dreading an upgrade as they'll all have AI OS's.

🤯 Russia destroyed the warehouse of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kyiv

320 thousand units of humanitarian cargo and equipment worth over 79 million UAH were lost.

The warehouse stored generators, medical equipment, emergency response equipment, etc.

There's a kid outside the front of ours teaching his friends swear words in Dutch. Fair enough, we did the same thing with french 40 years ago. But he's even correcting their pronunciation!
That's some serious dedication.
