Had the wrong part for the AC repair, so i moved on to another part of this project TDI. All the glue in the interior gave out at once, so the headliner is sagging and the door upholstery is peeling off.

Removing the headliner board was delicate work, but not too hard. Just a lot of plastic clips. The door upholstery required disassembling the handle and removing a panel.

There is a surprising amount of adhesive in this car. Pretty much the whole interior is glued in. Def not repair friendly. And sticky. I think ill try to find a way to rebuild the door panels with rivnuts or some mechanical means rather than new glue.
