It's finally dawned on me. Pip and Stella are actually getting married *this* weekend, during Storm Boelo, but a time warp in Borsetshire meant that we got the relevant episodes several days in advance, and left the characters in a complete muddle about what day it is.
Fortunately BorSeTshire time ends on Sunday, and with luck we'll all be back in sync by the end of the month.
