@ACM Malicious interoperability, that is being able to become interoperable with a service without their consent, is probably the only barrier that prevents total monopolization of technology. And is in fact how the likes of Google, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft in particular built out their empires.
TPM law should be struck down. Its primary purpose is to deprive people ownership over their devices in the name of being able to extract every penny.
