Can we please give a HUGE shout out to Stacey Abrams? She worked and fought and organized and created the foundation for the important win by Keisha Lance Bottoms to become the first female and first Black governor in Georgia's history, as well as the first Black female governor in the US.
she showed how it could be done, and the nation paid attention
everything accomplished today rests on the efforts and commitment of the pathway she has been carving out for the past 15 years
Bottoms may have made history tonight, but she did so on the shoulders of this remarkable force of nature
She’s a hero. Such an inspiration.
🇺🇸✊🇺🇸
Thank you Stacey!!! We could not have done it without you.
💯
She's brilliant and doesn't get enough praise/credit for her organizing genius.
Sadly, the National Democratic Party is frequently led by weak white guys who are terrible organizers and too often act like bratty, squabbling 5th graders rather than competent, effective pols with vision or purpose.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
amen!
She's a hero!
I would give her trumpet lessons she'd be a great lead player
Stacey Abrams is the GOAT!
100%!
Yes! Thank you sooo much @staceyabrams.com@bsky.brid.gy for your work on getting us to the finish line. Or Beginning line!

@morgmeneshets.bsky.social She was interviewed on NPR this morning and it was great hearing what she had to say.
Women supporting women. You will never find or experience anything more powerful. Go get 'em Keisha. Well done Stacey.
@morgmeneshets.bsky.social I will follow her into the fires of Mount Doom.
