@skippingmoonrocks @ContraindiKate I wish Laura Hillenbrand would write a memoir. She is the author of Seabiscuit and other nonfiction, and I really appreciated her New Yorker article about developing ME/CFS and no one having any clue what was going on.

@beandreams @ContraindiKate thank you! You mentioned a book that I own (on paper sadly, so can't reread it) and now that you mention it, i loved Invisible Kingdom when I read it 5 years ago. Nobody's empire has been on my wishlist for forever, the song with the same title is one of the songs i listen to on repeat when processing chronic illness feelings.
I looked at 2 books by Laura Hillenbrand, and unsure if i'm into a sports memoir right now, but I will write her name down somewhere so i remember it later.
