Getting enough photos to edit out other visitors took over two hours. Final images are cropped together from several shots reconstructing a lost place feeling that certainly wasn't present when visiting.
The former mayor of the village was guiding tours that day. He was kind enough to talk about what managing this white elephant of an art installation entails. If you're interested in that, you can read about it in my blog. (Tl;dr: Fucking pay volunteers!!!)

A large group of plaster cast sculptures of ghosts made from draped linens are arranged in the choir of a tiny church. Like tribunal.
Painted walls and ceiling have been recovered by the restauration. Light was also beautiful that day, giving the interior a truly golden look which contrasts nicely with the dark blue ceiling painted with stars
The choir sculptures from further backm a pair of figures is arranged to seemingly watch them from the pews
View of the whole interior from the gallery.
That empitness lasted about two minutes before the next group arrived
