My MTB is about 2cm longer than the vestibule in a Marayong (Sydney longer distance train) is high, so can't fit their vertical bike racks. My cargo bike and touring bike are much longer so no chance. But the cargo bike has a stand so just needs floor space.
But with a bit of work we fitted ~6 bikes into the 3-bike stand area the other day.
