See, this is exactly why the US is fucked. A Republican vote is directly for corruption. A Democrat vote is to let corruption off the hook. Having no choice was what led the French to revolt in 1789. This smells dangerous.
@holdenweb If you are a public servant / in public office and not listening to the people, you're not doing your job.
@holdenweb
Wrong answer.
Every one of these Regime Epstein class traitors has to go. It's the Senate's job to bring the GQOers on board with this. Replace Schumer and Jefferies.
Article II, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, is the primary mechanism for removing the president, vice president, and civil officers for "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." This process requires impeachment by the House of Representatives and conviction by a two-thirds vote of the Senate.
@holdenweb That’s true if impeachment is the only way to punish executive wrongdoing.
@Virginicus Name three others?
@holdenweb 1. Leverage whatever shenanigans Rep. Massie comes up with for the lame duck session. 2. The CR expires in December. 3. If Democrats take the House, oversight hearings oversight hearings and contempt citations can peel off mid-level fascists. 4. If they have 53+ seats in the Senate, they can seize control of agencies with legislation.
But just saying “impeachment” is facile. It’s failed twice. That’s what Harris was saying, before the mansplaining to drown her out.
@Virginicus Thanks. The additional context is useful.
@holdenweb Wow, that is fucking disappointing.
@holdenweb open source guillotine construction plans?
@holdenweb Criminals must face justice for their crimes. I know that there are criminals on both sides and they should all face justice. ALL OF THEM!!!!
