People keep circling this realization year after year when the Democratic "big tent" only seems to include racists and misogynists, but they shy away from it out of fear of Trump and Republicans and all the "crazy" things they will do, which Democrats mostly don't want to stop.
I'm personally tired of talking to Democrats who insist it's still the liberal civil rights party of 50-60 years ago and every Democrat is a good Democrat and they only want what's best for us.
That's cope. That's not true.
There's a lot of good people who identify with Democrats and desperately hope they will save us. Is it wrong that I would like to be saved, too, and all the other trans people and trans children whose entire lives are at stake, instead of being relegated to the Omelas child?
