This morning I got out of bed without making weird old man noises.
To me that means cured.

@kentparkstreet1
That is definitely a good sign.
We oldies do make some weird noises doing every day things 🤣😂.
Sounds like a (literal) step in the right direction.
It dawned on me recently I was making those noises when I'd get up and down from chairs etc. for no discernible reason other than habit (there were historical pain reasons for doing so, no longer present), so I try to catch myself and stop it, with variable results so far. Bodies are weird.
I’ve been training myself to avoid that habit, because it has started. We have to trick our own brains.
@kentparkstreet1
I'm not even unwell and croak like an asthmatic wombat, when I get out of bed at 3am after tossing and turning for an hour...
You must be ready to run an ultra marathon, mate...
Maybe ironman in autumn?
I was thinking the boxing gym first, then maybe some rugby league. I can’t do everything at once.
@kentparkstreet1
Make an effort, man...
😝
@kentparkstreet1 hopefully the medical staff think so too!
I think they’ll rely on an upcoming scan, which I’m trying to be patient about.
@kentparkstreet1 so you're currently just patiently patienting? @AnnonBudgie
I think they noticed I’d run out of that patience stuff, then suddenly they could do things.
Finally back in my hotel. It’s warm here.
@kentparkstreet1 ah good news
@AnnonBudgie
@kentparkstreet1 Any Vegemite on the horizon yet? Surely the Geneva Convention says you have to get some if they keep you in without any!
It’s not that I’m opposed to marmalade, but at some point they really need to aspire to a higher cuisine.
