Well,that was fun, took a nap after work, came back to my sound being choppy as hell and could not understand anything to shut it down or restart properly. Unplugged and replugged in my headset dongle, clearly something in my audio just went batshit. First time that's happened...
I'm now kind of afraid to leave my machine on overnight, bad part is I can't recall what Ihad left open that could have caused an entire meltdown liket hat. It was rlearly an audio driver issue or so much ram being suddenly used that my machine just... hated everything. It has never done this before so that was not fun.
@blindbat84 I've had that happen just because it happened. It wasn't anything to do with leaving my laptop on overnight, because I do that pretty regularly
@WilfSplodNokit My desktop is on 24/7 unless Irestart it for some reason. I've noticed my overall ram usage going up slowly thorughout the day sometimes but not enough to make it crash out like that. But who knows. Iwanted to investigate in event viewer but it is pretty useless to me as Ican't parce shit in there.
@blindbat84 I have MemReduct running. It only runs if RAM usage goes above 70%. Handly little app that generally keeps its nose out

@WilfSplodNokit Thanks for this utility, it is nuts how much it can clear even whin my memory is behaving. This will be very nice to do periodically just to clear out the excess crap.
