    Good morning lovely ones.

    Friday is here and its race weekend. How in the hell am I meant to stay awake for F1, so inconsiderate of it to be on in the evening 😂

    Todays plans are crochet and The Hobbit, never got round to watching The Hobbit yesterday. Today I shall sit in bed and watch all 3 of the films, while drinking lots of tea. Since the weather is meant to get pretty damn grim, it sounds like a good plan!

    Stay safe if you are due Storm Austen, which will be swiftly followed by Storm Boelo. It could be a *fun* weekend 😬

    @JustFi Morning Fi, you have a good plan. It's damp, grey and quiet here so far, likely to liven up considerably later. I shall have to venture out for supplies later though.

    @HeatherMJ Morning lovely, the rain has started here, we aren't due wind today, that is a weekend thing for us.
    I hope you venture early for supplies and can then hunker down x

    @AnnonBudgie Just rain for us today. I believe its south west England and Wales that are getting the wind today. We get the wind tomorrow/Sunday from Storm Boelo.

    @JustFi we've got more rain due this weekend, so sadly I won't be able to mow. I like rain 😃 but need to upgrade my rain gauge. The 150mm gauge wasn't big enough yesterday.

    @AnnonBudgie Oh no, no mowing, tragic!
    We haven't had as much rain as forecast, but our weather warning for the weekend has now turned amber for the wind, not looking forward to that.

    We're on the edge of the forecast area, so just torrential rain and 50mph winds forecast...

    I can' t believe Kimi won't seal the title this weekend, even if he starts at the back of the grid with four flat tyres 😁
