for my boss, claude seems to be really, genuinely creatively enabling. he's exploring many different angles of things, and yes, indeed, is getting lots of stuff done - and like, in a way where really not all of it can be qualified as "burying us all in slop". Genuine quality improvements! Cleaning UP some tech debt! (i'm leaving open the option that he's creating lots of new tech debt, tho)
It seems to be fun and fulfilling, so in a way, I'm happy for him, I guess.

It is somewhat frustrating tho that the only way to bond with & exchange knowledge with my colleagues seems to be one way or another related to claude now. Either it's tips about how to use claude well or it's stuff they found out via using claude. And everything is getting more isolated anyway, because everyone is talking to claude instead of their colleagues, so ... kinda GOTTA listen to claude-related stuff every now & then if I wanna stay even a little bit connected to my team. Sigh. This really really isn't the place anymore for me ... only a couple of months to gooo ...
