Berlin mutual-aid group raided by German police during a DIY HRT information/distribution event. The information we have so far indicates they were raided after publicly posting on social media that they would teach folks how to acquire cryptocurrencies and hormones online.
Adjust your threat models accordingly, folks.
i wish more groups knew that it is not safe to communicate about grey-market business we do to survive on mainstream public platforms, no matter how many folks you think could be saved by knowing the specifics of your operation
If you organize these kinds of events, no you do not. You run "mutual-aid/help groups". And in them you might have old-timers approach new members to discuss these things, but what happens in them stays in them or at least in whisper networks. It makes infiltration by outsiders, something we desperately do not need when trans people already have such a huge spotlight on us, less worth it or even doable.
I have seen this reported on Taz and they have explicitly written about it as being a transphobic attack, and alluded to it being a raid against DIY HRT.
Frankly, if we were treated with the same dignity and respect as cis patients needing HRT we would not need trans elders assisting with DIY anything!

Nope. And this is not just a straightforward attack, but also the start of profiling us.
We know where this ends as this is history repeating itself. We need to fight, and it is going to get bloody before it gets better.
