Hey y'all. Does the follower count matter to you ? And do you use it as a measurement of how trustworthy someone is here on Mastodon?
I'm just curious. I know I can look it up but I like having additional source of info.
Boosts aren't mandatory but appreciated. Besides I'll make my own conclusions eventually...
@alexadeswift @alice would you give three of your heartsies to a certain dwarf?
A house in my town. Apparently the neighbors weren't happy about their Pride yard display, so they decided to show them what they think about bigoted opinions.

@alice it has heartsies everywhere, precious!
I'm stuck waiting for my partner for a few hours, but it was too hot in the car for my sweater, so I ran into the local store and bought a cute sportsbra and shirt. Now I'm comfy.
Thought Fedi might wanna know this for...reasons.
More transphobia - nay, more trans genocide going into place from ukgov today.
Seeing reports lots of government departments are announcing employee bathroom bans, on the day that the NHS segregation guidance has come out.
The former is intended to force trans people out of employment, the latter to discourage us from getting healthcare. Both exposes us further to violence. Both actions are genocidal.
Kalshi used AI to recreate a YouTuber’s video as an ad, replacing the Asian creator with a white AI-generated man without his permission.
I’ve also seen comedians complaining about their standup sets being stolen in this manner and posted across social media.
This is an insidious form of IP theft

On both counts!
"Do you want to talk about heaven and being saved ?" Ask the 1971 fashion catalogue models whae huv jist chapped ma door.
Ay, awrite en, exactly when wid youse like tae leave fur the eternal?
Yiv struck it lucky theday, cause ma usual pacifist patience is werrin really thin, continue further an ah wull be quite happy tae assist youse in yer sky faerie quest, dae youse want a plastic pumpkin tae take wae youse?

@alexadeswift @murena @efoundation @iode Swedish banking apps work for me on eOS without locked bootloader. But I think you can lock it on eOS too?
Me: Your previous host made me trans though :heart_trans:
Ezri: Did I make Lwaxana gay?
Quark: No that's not really how it works.
Do you
My current phone was stock Android, then /e/OS and now iodéOS! The latter move simply because I needed to lock the bootloader to get banking apps working and no other reason.
That said, I am very impressed with both and will never go back to stock Android.
Many years ago I knew someone who, if not actually a friend, knee Buzz Aldrin. This person was a Born Again Christian which probably says it all.
I am a recovering Born Again Christian now, with the scars to prove it 🤣
And also now very much a leftist, and as such there is only ONE reason that I will never say "fuck Trump", and that is because as an Ace I would never lower my standards 😈 :heart_trans: :v_greyace:
Specifically:
- Buzz Aldrin (Apollo 11): Trump supporter.
- David Scott (Apollo 15): A grifter who made money on the side by smuggling postal covers to the Moon, later found to be a fraudster.
- Charles Duke (Apollo 16): Young Earth Creationist who believes UFOs are demons.
- Harrison Schmitt (Apollo 17): Former Republican senator who believes climate change is a “Nazi stalking horse”, that environmentalists are communists and that more CO2 is good for us, actually.
@iode Or maybe #murena_eos
😃
Stock android now quietly links your phone number to every Google account signed in on your device, on by default, with no confirmation prompt. Yet another reason to leave Google for good: https://www.androidauthority.com/google-auto-phone-number-verification-android-3723117/
Your next phone should run iodéOS!

@JessTheUnstill One "unintended consequence" I find hilarious is that these "ban trans women from 'women's' restrooms!" statements mean they want trans MEN in 'women's' restrooms.
(Of course, I know what they really want is for trans people to simply not exist; but saying "use the bathroom conforming to the gender assigned at birth" means some pretty masculine dudes will end up using 'women's' rooms.)
