@Netzblockierer I have 3 apps for grocery shopping, one for each of the main store chains,just to make sure I don't pay more than I need to. The only store there is no point to have an app for, is the "online only" grocery store, there I can shop using a regular web browser and still get the same prices...
@lettosprey YIKES!
@Netzblockierer It gets worse. The setup for the two major chains is:
1% saving for being in their "club" (to get email spam and track your purchases)
1% saving for using their app (so they can alert you about sales)
And to top that:
1% savings for using THEIR credit card.
As a result, I have all those apps and four credit cards, one for one grocery store chain, one for another grocery store chain, one that gives 0.5% savings on "whatever", that I use elsewhere, and one that is just the default one that comes with my bank account that I more or less never use.
The cards are free to use, as long as you pay on time, but of course they are partnering with financial companies that make their money on people NOT paying in time, so I am quite careful...
And, I mean, if you gonna buy taco stuff you NEED to shop on thursday or friday because if you buy taco fixings any other day you pay WAY too much and are just plain stupid and grief I wish there were more laws against this shit.
