That's cool and all, but we all know Nvidia is the one to watch.
When that goes down by like 20-30% that's the bubble popping, because the "AI" companies will no longer have the credibility to actually... receive? the chips they promised to buy with money they're not earning? I don't even know, running out of grammar to describe that.
Anyway this ain't it. Yet. Good to see though!
true, but it has to start somewhere, and this might be it
The start of the bubble bursting was when Oracle’s credit rating was downgraded to one step above junk.
oracle, coreweave and now Anthropic.
Openai is also avoiding is ipo.
And Palantir is one of the most overvalued compamies in history..
@Captain_Jack_Sparrow this is the typical case where one wonders if the previous valuation was due to criminal behavior by the company (as in actively providing misleading information) or incredibly stupid and gullible investors, and quite frankly I think it's the latter
I think it's both, the investors swallowed the hype.
@gabrielesvelto @Captain_Jack_Sparrow Before the (since repealed) regulations of the New Deal, stupidity and gullibility of investors was so reliable, you could set your watch to it.
@Captain_Jack_Sparrow nothing says "we're just making shit up" like being wrong by half a trillion dollars on the button.
