Just for my own sanity, any time any fediverse post of mine gains enough traction to be seen by 3rd party strangers and they comment to it with any of:

- why do you care about X instead of Y
- you aren't going far enough
- any form of insult or generalized negativity

I just fucking mute and/or block them. Am I being a thin-skinned prima donna? Probably but guess what - the world presents more than enough bum out energy on an hourly basis. I certainly don't need to cultivate more on Mastodon. Or anywhere.
