@chris @pthane The (russian) population in Russia won't do shit, at least not in big enough numbers. Putin knows that and he doesn't care about his population. There is a cult of suffering and the idea, that the West are all nazis and people are saving the world with their sacrifice. And native populations are enprisioned, camped or send of to war (sometimes in the threat of worse happening to their families if they dont).
@chris @pthane Russia does not need to, nor intend to supply diesel. If one drop of Russian diesel's loss can be attributed to Ukraine, that is good enough reason to claim that's why the diesel hasn't been delivered and why the prices haven't come down. Plus, Ukraine will then be "working against American interest" and thus should not get any more US support.
I'm guessing, but quite likely Trump receives a nice chunk of personal wealth for his part in setting this all up. 🤮
