    How's THAT for a rugbrød starter!

    I think one of the problems was the room temperature. The recipe I used recommended a temperature between 23 og 25 grader. Our house is rarely above 20 grader this time of year.

    I think I'm going to try another recipe as I had to add a LOT more buttermilk to get the starter somewhere close to the proper consistency.
