    @aceofcosmicspace my three things:

    1. (similar to another suggestion) acknowledgment and sitting with the feelings, and treating them as feelings. It doesn't reflect any particular truth about yourself or the world except "this is what I'm feeling right now," and you don't have to give it any weight beyond being a discomfort and reason to generally make the long term choices for your body that you want and are able to.
    2. Once you've acknowledged and felt through the dysphoria, direct your focus to something that gives you gender euphoria, or even just away to something positive and neutral about your body. You're reminding your body that dysphoria isn't an inescapable pit that you *want* to wallow in. It trains your body to expect and shift toward that next step, and eventually it starts to become automatic.
    3. In the little longer term, generally building distress/discomfort tolerance. Allowing those big feelings to feel less big over time. Things that were overwhelming become instead very distressing, then distressing, then uncomfortable. And teaching your body that uncomfortable is only uncomfortable, not unsafe.
