Anthropic is now worth $965B. JPMorgan, the biggest bank in America, is worth $900B.
One took 227 years to get here. The other took 5.

@FluentInFinance Deffo *not* a bubble! 🤡
@Javensbukan @FluentInFinance somebody "claims", they are worth Billions. To get more VC to burn. That is a funny claim for a company that have not ever made a single dollar of profit. That does not even have a business model that could be reached with scaling something. By now they scale up only more losses.
Worth is what someone is willing to pay for it.
@FluentInFinance
And how much are they worth after they buy back all their outstanding stock? The meaning of company valuations died in the Reagan era.
@FluentInFinance @jd One has a product, the other is the ruination of civilization
@FluentInFinance and one will still be worth that in two years
Neither will be.
Capitalism is in its death throes, so companies are hyping and inflating their valuations through shady means, to try to appear bigger than they are.
