    Not much from today's hamfest, but I always thought the Heuer LM11 level meter was neat back when I used them at work, back in the '90s. The pair mainly used for level testing on voice circuits. Both of them still work, so there's a couple of more items for my collection of obsolete Aussie test equipment.

    A LARGE heatsink, A PTT microphone, some 3 pin carrier patch cables and a pair of Heuer LG11 Level Generator and LM11 Level Meter.

    @vk3kri interesting to hear you mention level testing on voice circuits.

    One of the first things I noticed as a new amateur is that FM voice levels were all over the place and 15 years on, nothing has changed. All too regularly the quality is all but indistinguishable from HF SSB.

    All this to say, I wonder if there's a way to test and set radios in bulk using existing infrastructure.

    @vk6flab
    It would seem that an option on a repeater to measure the peak deviation and frequency offset and report it back would be neat. The end user would have to be sure that the level was enough to be activating the limiter/clipper in their transmitter.
    Of course it has probably done some where, but I wouldn't know as I keep my audio beyond reproach by never being on the air😃

    @vk3kri I wonder if you could get enough information across an Allstar link, so you could create a node that anyone could connect to and get a report.
