Though the wild #turkeys of #CambridgeMA initially appear to simply do what they want (where they want, when they want), without regard to other residents, the turkeys are actually quiet supporters of civic engagement, leading by example.

Here, we see a turkey finishing up excavating a section of sidewalk, to repair tripping hazards.

The recent road work and bike lane additions on Broadway in #CambridgeMA painted this red "YIELD TO PEDS" in the bike lanes at the intersection with Highland. Has anyone seen this marking elsewhere in Cambridge?

Much more rare than the bunnies of #CambridgeMA, are the raccoons.

(I had a *much* better photo, but the default Night Mode of this newish iPhone cost me the shot. Since turned off.)

> Reverse acqui-hires emerged in recent years as a way for larger companies to hire key team members and license technology from startups without acquiring the startups outright — presumably allowing them to build up AI talent and tech without drawing as much antitrust scrutiny.

Other "gentle" shampoos already avoid sulfates, parabens, and fragrances.

The annual "HONK!" street band festival is Thursday through Sunday, in #SomervilleMA and #CambridgeMA.

Starting in Union Sq., then Davis Sq., and on Sunday there's a parade (with street closures) to Harvard Sq., where it syncs up with the Oktoberfest and Filipino American Festival.

Sunday's Harvard Sq. Oktoberfest has a live music stage and vendor booths.

The bands are good, but earplugs might help protect your hearing.

Anyone missing a tiger stripe brownish cat in Mid #CambridgeMA? Seen at about 5:20pm on Highland near Broadway. #LostCat
