Radio Shack gave a free battery to EVERY American EVERY month, and nobody was ever sufficiently grateful. https://apnews.com/article/musk-spacex-anthropic-donation-ai-b3312da37a0e340be275295073055e00?utm_source=app&utm_medium=android_share&utm_campaign=copy_link
In 1996, I got in trouble for having an absurd 123MB of data on PC World’s server.
Sleep perchance to blep.
The global RAM shortage is prompting a technical shift back to DDR4 memory to mitigate escalating price hikes. Intel and AMD are reviving support for older sockets to enable the use of more affordable DDR4 RAM in new CPU architectures. This strategy allows manufacturers to offer consumers options that avoid the high cost associated with DDR5 memory.

Trump turns to Putin and Russia for diesel, before the midterms, during a war, where the USA is — apparently — on the Ukrainian side. Russian stocks spike. Sanctions? what Sanctions? Allies? What Allies?
Oh, and also on the same day that the USA sanctions the International Criminal Court which lists Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu as war criminals with warrants for their arrest.
btw. A famous South African anti-apartheid judge who helped declare the Gaza situation a #Genocide, won the Peace Prize today.
How’s that No Kings protest doing? Gonna do anything or are we just “waiting for the midterms” while you quietly smile at the price of fuel in your neighbourhood
oh and…. Something something something …. Public
executions.

Private #HealthInsurance just killed another American. Tell me again, why is this such a wonderful system that we don't dare replace it with something that actually takes care of people? https://www.medpagetoday.com/publichealthpolicy/publichealth/123274
We use to do that at our pool at the end of summer... it. was. EPIC.
I miss this.

Today the most expensive lie in modern American politics got knocked flat by a fucking ass chugging cock swallowing chatbot the Liar-In-Chief paid for. Why the fuck does America.gov have to exist. And why, oh why, did #Trump tempt fate and say its "unhackable". Because some #AnonOps person is going to roll sleeves up any second now. https://thistleandmoss.com/p/even-his-own-fucking-robot-knows-trump-ai-er-sorry-si-says-he-lost-in-2020 #infosec #cve #devops #trump #superintelligence

People who live in New York are New Yorkers. People who live in San Francisco are San Franciscans. People who live in Uren are...?
Science educator Bill Nye received the Key to the Las Vegas Strip and a "Bill Nye Day" proclamation. This honor acknowledges his decades advocating for science education, climate solutions, and space exploration. The UNLV ceremony on September 29, 2026, coincided with his Barrick Lecture Series address. Nye discussed science's future impact, leading to an encore presentation due to significant public interest.
We've been quiet today.
Not much to share unless you like hearing about cleaning bathrooms, washing rugs, vacuuming, mopping, showering up Summer and her pal (not together or in that order) and paying bills. We planted more grass seed and put a new end on a hose.
Our lives aren't very exciting and we like it that way.
After all of that I finished up another towel.
There are two names left on my list so getting close to done stitching for now.
Looks like I should be sorting and putting thread away too.
Two hours of stars over Mount Rainier, compressed into one minute. 🌌
I photographed this from the White River area as the Milky Way moved across Little Tahoma Peak toward Mount Rainier.
Airplanes, satellites, and even a searchlight crossed the frame.
I think (hope) the Ragin Cajun nailed it!
