It's always special seeing a nuptial flight. The workers all come out of the nest and run around to act as cover for the queens and drones as they take off. Before they fly they run around working themselves into a kind of frenzy.

This might be to spread pheromones that might trigger other nearby colonies to fly. These ants are near a big park so if the queens go that way they should find some males.

I wanted to collect a queen but these have not mated so there is no point.

Se o direito é nomos, uma construção histórica, política e contingente, ele pode ser criticado, aperfeiçoado e transformado à luz da experiência, em vez de tratado como algo sagrado ou imutável.

Han vi tok kontroll på erkjenner at sykkelen er borttatt fra bakgården på Rosenhoff. Det ble i tillegg funnet en kniv i sekken til mistenkte. Vi tar beslag i kniven og en sprek politibetjent sykler sykkelen tilbake dit den hører til.

Mistenkte ble bortvist fra stedet og vi oppretter anmeldelse på sykkeltyveri og bæring av kniv på offentlig sted.
