    And yes, this will be an automated system, it won't be connected to my other medical records so they will have no idea I am going through that treatment, but the bitter bloody irony of being sent that test kit while I've been going through this, that's the universe taking the piss.

    No, thank you, normally do this & advise anyone else to do the same, but this time it seems beyond pointless to the point of absolute absurdity.

    That said, the bitter irony and absurdity of being sent this cancer detection kit while actually being treated for cancer aside, the letter with it is right, early testing can save your life. If mine had been detected just a little later, it would have spread to my organs, and I would be basically on paliative care on the road to slow, painful oblivion.

    So, please, if you get the kit, it is a bit icky, but please, please do it.
