Whenever a younger person learns how paranoid and worried I am about having my account or device compromised, they treat me like I'm insane. The question I get is "You can just get it all back, right?"

To them, apparently it's just a reality of life? Something they expect? And they don't seem to think there are negative consequences for it?

I worry.

I worry a lot.
