"Our" man, #CountBinface is unmistakeable in the line-up. Very noticeable for his absence is the by-election winner, Nigel Farage. Farage was too much the coward to even show at the count.
Farage got 22,239 votes, 63.3% on a 44.4% turnout. #Binface got a very respectable 9,455 votes (26.9%), he will get his deposit returned. We likely will see Binface again.

The re-opening of the investigation has been confirmed on the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards' website. Screenshot of the website also shows the investigation into Richard Tice. I included that just because.
Aug 16, 2026, 10:03 AMThe media aren't allowing the whole "Farage didn't attend the count" story to subside. Claims are made and claims are refuted.
Essex police, as reported by The Standard, released a statement which included this description of their activities on polling day:
"We visited all 51 polling stations, our officers were out and visible on foot, in vehicles and our drone team patrolled by air.”
I wonder what the "drone team" do the rest of the time.

He was probably petrified of a confrontation with the Count, and even more afraid of someone taking a photograph of said encounter. Do you remember Ed Miliband and the bacon roll?
I remember the days when "aunties" would send a birthday car with £5 inside. I never once received £5 million.

Yeah, sandwich. These opportunistic photos can destroy a politician's career. Other examples include: Neil Kinnock's stumble on the beach, Jimmy Carter's "collapse" whilst jogging, and Michael Foot's "donkey jacket" at the Cenotaph.

I believe that is Glenn Charles Cummings, who got the total of 7 votes, placing him last in the election. I'm guessing he voted for himself, so, that leaves 6 friends and family who felt compelled to support him. 😃
I hear the one from Lewis who is not Lewis did not show up for the result despite his 347 votes.
