Aug 6, 2026, 11:20 AM@deshipu From my experience and observing others, people definitely gravitate to high caloric foods/ingredients when hungry. Cravings are usually backed by some need of the body if there isn't some form of ED at play.
But that immediate need is of course not necessarily always the most healthy outcome in the long run if that means you eat food with little nutrition beyond energy it provides.
So I would say we probably cook worse on average when hungry, both taste and health wise.
