    Seeing XBox implode reminds me of something I heard blackbirdcoop say recently (as in I heard it recently).

    No way I can quote it properly, but basically the U.S. decided that it was better to have low prices rather than high wages.

    Gamepass was a massive failure and here we are. Not $70 games (I spend infinitely more on healthcare (already hit my out of pocket max!), housing, food, insurance (scam!), energy, etc, etc). The idea that games have little value and you can vomit spend on a service that will never reach as many as you claim.

    Also gacha/live service has pooled money and there has been soooo many poor decisions in the game industry. But even amongst take, XBox and the gamepass takes the cake.

    Apparently they are talking about shutting down ID Software. They are cooked.
