On the topic of slopware recently, I have found it pretty amusing that there are all these little issues sprinkled in so many projects with "I want copilot to be in my text editor", "can I get claude to work in this?", "Can you make LLMs a feature in this app".

There is something quite... disconnected about these things and the illusion of these things being "productivity boosters and enabling more" (whatever that fucking means).

Just... code it yourself? You have the AI, it is powerful as you have said to do everything or you could just do it quickly with it! Just use it for that instead asking real humans to enable your bullshit.

This dissonance within tech and particularly with AI chuds would be hilarious if it wasn't so damn damaging.
