![A screenshot of a social media thread on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing a joke about computer memory (RAM).
The main post by user Harshith (@HarshithLucky3) includes an image of a makeshift box trap propped up by a stick on a light wooden floor. Leading up to and underneath the open cardboard box is a trail of computer RAM sticks acting as bait. The post is captioned, "sam come here come here."
Below the post, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (@sama)—whose display name in the screenshot has been temporarily changed to "Ram Altman"—replies to the thread. His first reply reads, "i lol'd." A user named jestermolecule (@jestermolecule) responds, "can u rename your x to ram altman!" Sam Altman replies with "ok yeah," followed by a final comment: "but only because...i actually do want the world to have tons of memory and people to put as much as they [can]."](https://mastodon.bd/system/media_attachments/files/117/556/922/993/856/725/small/e1592facb6479b57.png)
