2h agoRespectfully, I find that’s a very romantic notion, but one that is completely counterfactual. I watch a lot of news, national, international, and especially local. I very rarely see that coverage of issues that you claim to. Not until things explode and the press has to cover it for competitive reasons.
Protests turned violent have created real change far more than peaceful ones ever have. Historical examples abound: Storming the Bastille, the Boston Tea party, Stonewall riots, Soweto, …
