@b0rk I have lot of respect for your perspective on this. FOSS tooling has been so often so strongly inclined towards a sort of beige generality, somehow so allergic to being opinionated-by-default, that I have to wonder how many people have just bounced off of it just because - for some reason - "make my life easier" wasn't the default, and why would you want to work with people who think that?
@mhoye it feels like the culture around this has finally been shifting and I love it so much
@b0rk Yeah, just in the last few years - seed-crystalled by us all being stuck at home too long, maybe? - it feels like there's a renaissance of the personal and communal of personal computing. Cozy, hopepunk/solarpunk, local-scale/lorawan, federated social, these things all feel like they're maybe, kind of the same shape.

I hope you also include information about how to make a will configured terminal persistent! I have a ~/dotfiles/ folder that's git controlled along with symlinks from the expected file location
