I stuck around longer than I should have because I wanted to find out who was running this commercial, but quickly figured out that question would never be answered and skipped the ad.
At the very least, this ad is in bad taste. But as I was served this ad at my place of work ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS it is FUCKING UNNERVING.

I don't really browse YouTube anymore. There are still a few creators that I got there to see like TheBlackForager and Technology Connections, but BY THOR'S HAMMER if these are the commercials I have to deal with to get to ya'll ... I'm sorry but no more.
RIP YouTube. I'd say "rest in peace," but I know Alphabet/Google are going to "Weekend at Bernie's" your corpse until every last drop of blood is gone.

I know, it’s so bad anymore.
I don’t like Alphabet as a whole, but other options are so limited. I end up doing all I can to avoid anything Google—even YouTube—anything Meta of course…what’s left, TikTok? Just a horrible selection anyway.
I guess that’s why I’m here :-D
So hard to avoid though. It’s so pervasive as to make it almost impossible to avoid entirely.
