Dang wind blew our side gate open!

We don't own any horses; Those are feral/wild horses.

If you want insight into my weird brain, here are nine films that had a huge influence on me, in order of when I watched them (ish).

There's an industrial wood chipper outside my building right now and I'm getting major Fargo flashbacks.

'Trick or treat, give me something good to eat...'

All shot practically using real figures, lighting, cotton wool for the fire from the pumpkin, a homemade wall I made. The Pumpkin eyes and mouth glow I added digitally.

There's this thing that happens when you experience a negative life-altering event*, where you have to grieve the life you imagined for yourself and process the loss of everything you were on track for. And I'm not sure I've ever properly done that 🤔

*for those who don't know, I was forced to quit my accounting career (and working at all) due to illness at the end of 2020.

The Orionid meteor shower is supposed to be visible here in two hours, after the moon sets, and I wish I was out in the country to be able to see it🌠

So. Much. Insomnia.

Because I'm pedantic AF, I had to look up how many Predator films there are (including the Hulu-only ones).
I've seen P1 & 2 and I'm pretty sure I watched AvP on the SciFi channel way back when. Definitely have not seen AvP 2, Predators or The Predator. Am I missing anything skipping those?
(Prey & Badlands are both on my watchlist)

This is probably a ridiculous complaint but it does kind of bug me that they're supposed to be such a proud warrior culture but they're using advanced alien tech against people with only swords and leather armor.
That's basically shooting fish in a barrel and it seems like they should find that boring at the very least and completely dishonorable, at worst.

#NowWatching Predator: Killer of Killers.
I've never been too into the Alien or Predator franchises but I know the Dan Trachtenberg stuff is supposed to be really good. I still need to watch Prey and Badlands.

Whose idea was it to read a scary ghost book in the dark, anyway? Not mine!

Narrator: It was most definitely her idea.

Found this little dude in my aloe plant and almost peed my pants. The internet says they're beneficial, though, and that they eat plant pests so I'm going to let him keep doing his many-legged thing 😬
