"title", "aria-label", something else, both work equally well?
When looking up accessibility best practices I see a lot about how to add captions to videos but that doesn't make as much sense for short form stuff compared to a static description.
Sep 2, 2026, 3:56 PMI also see that I can put in some text to display for browsers that can't play the video in there. Would screen readers read that or is that the wrong place for it?

For a description, `<figure>` / `<figcaption>` is probably best:
