@kittyjynx You know what's the problem? No one of these rulers (be it software, be it politicians) ever listened to every voice seriously. Consequently, they take decisions on a quite standardized range of case studies / personas, and this is the result. We can't even go on accusing someone of deliberately ignoring needs; we can't continue with the victim narration as well.

@elettrona I'm an anarchist so I really agree with you there! If there was not a police state and society functioned at human scale again this technology would not be nearly as controversial. Also, bad actors use encryption but it does not mean that technology is inherently malign. You are right I don't think people actively think about disabled people when they construct their views around LLMs. The disabled community here has radically changed how dogmatic I was against LLMs.
