Calley Means has taken his ball and gone home because he realized he got conned by RFK Jr.

But this is definitely a case of “let them fight”.

Means is himself a grifter who probably didn’t get enough pellets from RFK Jr.’s grift dispenser even though he kept pressing the bar with his little paw.

All of these people are threats to public health.

Testing is critical in breaking the transmission chain, ensuring proper treatment, and simply getting an accurate count of cases.

But Kennedy just can’t be bothered as people continue to die.

RFK Jr. likes to claim that the current measles outbreak isn’t his fault.

Nobody here will be surprised to hear that he is lying again.

Under his “leadership”, the CDC didn’t respond to a request to validate a test that could diagnose cases faster.

They said they had other priorities.

It’s time for Defend Public Health’s Whopper of the Week!

This time the team covers RFK Jr.’s continued attempts to do absolutely anything to push the false narrative that vaccines cause harm.

Ethics need not apply.

A person in France has just become the first recorded case and death from Shamonda virus, which is usually only found in livestock.

I post this not because I think it’s a danger to the general public at this time, but because it highlights yet another case of zoonotic spillover.

There are many horrifying aspects about Ramaswamy’s disgusting ad targeting Amy Acton.

One of them is that we are about to find out how many people approve of this behavior when they vote for him.

The unethical study that RFK Jr. funded in Guinea-Bissau “will not go forward”.

That’s great news.

But I don’t plan to sleep on it.

RFK Jr. will continue doing this kind of thing until the Republican Congress is either swept out of office or remembers what serving their country means.

What is even the point of paying federal taxes if this is how we are going to roll?

Someone toss me a pallet of tea and let’s find a harbor.

Hi fellow voters,

Trump is cutting your FEMA funding and urging states to “increase their financial reserves and emergency capabilities to handle most disasters on their own, without federal help”.

I wonder how soon we will revert to saying “The United States are” instead of “is”.

Kennedy should be impeached and convicted. There is no other option.

Yet even that would allow the self-serving, power-hungry, sycophantic Republican Senators who confirmed him off the hook. Every single one of them should be swept out of office.

It is a devastating and shameful set of circumstances that the police force in Guinea-Bissau, one of the poorest counties in the world, has had to take action to stop a predatory, unethical experiment on infants from being done by Danish scientists who are funded by the US—and Bill Ackman.

In a just world, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be impeached and convicted by close of business today—as a start.

But we don’t live in a just world.

Of course he doesn’t attempt it in his own country.

This entire vile episode will be a case study in ethics for all eternity, and every Republican who confirmed RFK Jr. should be drummed out of office while Kennedy himself gets impeached and convicted.

Of course, we already know what will happen to the kids who don’t get food, so the entire experiment is completely unnecessary.

But some disgusting, predatory asshole was confirmed as HHS Secretary in the United States, and wants to test out his conspiracy theories on a vulnerable nation.

Imagine there are children who are starving. You are from a wealthy country and you decide to exploit those conditions to conduct a study of what happens when you withhold food from kids.

You divide them into two groups.

One group gets fed immediately. The other has to wait 3 weeks for food.

Some of the kids will become severely ill and some will die while waiting for food, but since none of them have food now and you will feed some of them, you say it’s ethical.

That’s an analogy of what RFK Jr. is funding in Guinea-Bissau.

-The ethics board had never reviewed a medical study

-The Danish scientists are already under investigation for misconduct

-RFK Jr. allegedly bypassed normal review procedures to fund it

-Police in Guinea-Bissau have just raided the Danish scientists’ offices there and seized the vaccines
