Watched this video and it's amazing how easy certain things are to do in Resolve. Definitely multicam/narrative edits seem easier. Also seems like if you come from broadcast you might feel more at home, too.

But it's also very jagged in look and feel, where Apple always makes things feel fluid. DVR feels more engineer-y, computer-y. Like Windows, or Premiere, or Pro Tools.

Still trying to get a sense of how much I'll stumble over before I commit to working in it...

“The Mustin, another Arleigh Burke-class destroyer, switched homeports this year, leaving San Diego in February and arriving in Yokosuka, Japan, in March. As the sailors stepped off the ship, they were told they needed to be ready to deploy ‘tomorrow.’

“The Mustin actually left Japan in April for a deployment that was supposed to end in August. Now its crew has been told they will return in April 2027.”
