I was right about the digitizer; the digitizer extends beyond the screen bounds and provides extra state for when a swipe begins offscreen. Notification Center, Control Center, and back-swipe all rely on this state — touch events coming from the screen itself can’t actually trigger them at all. Just another thing to model

Heads-up: when I contribute this back to qemu-ios, it will not include the device chrome or the qemu frontend hooks to trigger calls/SMS. Those are all personal embellishments that make me happy, not something the project itself was asking for

@gregatron5 well they could, but you’d have to inset the UI area from the screen bounds. If they’re doing a wraparound screen, that makes sense too
