    @cstross that's a powder fire extinguisher, if you use it in your server room, you would have to throw away all your servers.

    I'm almost tempted to say that whatever burning power supply in a datacenter will do less damage than letting rip with a powder extinguisher. I hope I never meet the day someone decides to pull _that_ stunt

    @cstross @fdr Remember visiting a bank's data centre on a school trip, in the days when Halon was still legal. The fire briefing went along the lines of "run for the closest door, do not linger if it starts to 'snow' in here"
