July 1990, the month I got my Master's Degree (a conversion degree for science graduates transitioning into computer science—roughly equivalent to a Comp Sci BSc). Before that, in 1986 I graduated with a BPharm then did post-graduation training to register as a pharmacist.

Guess what? I've been a full-time writer almost continuously (three years in software dev aside) since late 1990! (Technical author, computer journalist, novelist.)

Please be sure not to accidentally commit genocide when using an AI to disguise your plagiarism by replacing words with synonyms.

I work in publishing. I don't know what you've heard, but if you use an AI to write your email, cover letter, or any part of your submission, it'll go straight in the fucking bin and you'll get blacklisted. You're insulting everyone who has taken the time to learn their craft.
