    @emmadavidson there is a special place for people that don't have the basic understanding that sound keeps travelling well after reaching their head.

    See also: people that talk to their phone on loudspeaker while holding it like it’s a piece of toast.

    @emmadavidson 😵‍💫 I once sat on the bus to Sydney with a woman behind me who spent almost the entire journey conversing on speaker phone. I think the only breaks were when the signal dropped out. I couldn't even eavesdrop as the entire conversation was in, I think, Chinese. 🫨🫨🤯

    Whoever invents a remote dongle to instantly mute any electronic device will have my money as fast as I can find my wallet.

    I'll make it easy, you don't even need to include a way to un-mute it. All computers must default to shut the hell up.

    @emmadavidson Flight attendant actually reminded people to use headphones and that no voice messaging or phone conversations were allowed on the wifi enabled flight I was recently on from Adelaide to Sydney.
    I could have wept with gratitude.
