A lot of vampire media just leaves the whole rule out which I always think is a mistake bc you can do so much with it. Like, if the rule is only for homes, what about people who don't live in a house? Can a vampire walk into the lobby of an apartment building but not into an apartment? What about a hotel? What about a rented room within someone else's home? If your landlord invites them into the living room, can they get into your room? Can anyone invite a vampire or do they have to live there?
